Drs. C. Verveld

Caroline Verveld studied medicine at the University of Utrecht. After her studies, Drs. Verveld was a Research Fellow at the Columbia University Medical Center in New York for six months. She did her preliminary training at the Flevo Hospital in Almere and subsequently completed an internship at the Spaarne Gasthuis Haarlem, the Red Cross hospital Beverwijk, the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital and the Jan van Gooyen clinic. The training was completed with a European certificate as a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS). After her training, she worked as a Plastic Surgeon at the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital in Amsterdam. There she gained extensive experience in (reconstructive) breast surgery, post-oncological reconstructive surgery and microsurgery.
