Dr. E.P.M. ten Dam

Dr. ten Dam studied medicine at the Rijksuniversity in Groningen. After his study he moved to Los Angeles for a year to do research at the University of California (UCLA). After this he completed a combined PhD and specialization trajectory at the UMC Groningen. During this period he followed the preliminary training in surgery, including an internship in burn surgery at the Martini Hospital in Groningen. He completed the Plastic Surgery training at the UMCG and the Medical Center Leeuwarden, and was completed with a European certificate as a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS). As a plastic surgeon, Dr. Ten Dam has gained experience in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at the LUMC and Alrijne Hospital in Leiden, and has been working at the Boerhaave Medical Center since 2021.
