Boerhaave only uses patient data for the purpose for which the data has been stored. It does not share patient data with third parties, unless this is necessary for the purpose of storing the data. Patient data is not stored for longer than necessary based on the purpose of storing the data.
Boerhaave uses all possible means and resources to protect patient data from access by unauthorised parties and requires consent from patients to store their personal data if no treatment contract is concluded.
Boerhaave notifies patients of:
- The patient’s rights in terms of their personal data.
- The purpose for which it processes personal data.
- Whether personal data is to undergo any special handling.
