One of my motivations for studying medicine was to be able to help patients. During my internships in Tanzania and with my hobbies, I notice that I can do a lot for people with my skills. For me, aesthetic plastic surgery is an opportunity to give people a long-desired change in shape. I think it is important to provide good and honest information about the possibilities and impossibilities so that a patient can make a good choice for themselves. Years of experience have given me a lot of expertise in breast and abdominal surgery. Plastic surgery is a profession where I can really make people happier. I find the ultimate challenge to be patients who have lost a significant amount of weight. These corrections are such that they require a lot of the technical skills of an operator. That makes it fun to do. Sometimes years later I still encounter grateful patients who tell me what the operation has meant to them and how their lives have changed.
I feel fortunate that I have found my place at the Boerhaave Clinic. In this organization, the importance of a good result for the patient is paramount.
There is room for honest advice here.

I live with my wife Irene in Gelderland. We have 3 children. In my spare time I enjoy sports (running and rowing) and often do crafts at home. I also like to spend my free time in the Gelderland nature.
